Amidst the 1980 Miami race riots, prison inmate Mercedes, and mental inpatient Earl, explore the unlikely common waters of…parenthood. While Earl relives the day leading up to his daughter’s birth from his hospital ward, Mercedes tries to ignore the event that nine years ago led her to an inevitable date with the electric chair. Rag and Bone Theater Company presents Stacy Davidowitz’s Sacred Water, running now until May 4th at the Alchemical Theatre Laboratory, 137 W14th Street.
