My Pussy is Purrin’ Again!

If Betty White Were Bi...! From her first sexual stirrings at Camp Takawalananakiki, swinging across the Atlantic to the smoke-filled clubs of gay Paris, D’yan Forest dances with many a partner.  Searching for love and led by lust, she uncovers the truth about the lies we tell for the sex we long and settle for - that does not settle our souls.  Storyteller, chanteuse and comedienne, D’yan’s tale is told through song, dance and a glockenspiel.

Two Lovely Black Keys

Written and performed by Chris Harcum

Chris Harcum (American Badass, Rabbit Island, and Some Kind of Pink Breakfast) returns to the Frigid Festival with a stand-up and storytelling fueled solo performance on feuds, gunslinging and what you get when you go up against the impossible. Two Lovely Black Eyes questions what we assume to be true and how much we should allow ourselves to operate on trust. In an era of heightened gun violence, is it safe to go to the theater? How do we deal with day-to-day events that may escalate out of control? What do you do when someone close to you violates what you deeply believe?
