A recent video garnering attention on the internet shows a Native American man heckling anti-illegal immigration protesters.
The video, which lasts a little over a minute, shows the man confronting what seems to be an anti-immigration rally along a busy street. He repeatedly tells the protesters that they are “all illegal” and then points to himself and says, “We’re the only Native Americans here.”
He then turns to another man who is holding a sign (which isn’t visible) and an American flag. Pointing to the flag, the heckler says, “That represents blood spilled by Native Americans.”
Regardless of what you think of his methods, he points out a powerful dichotomy within the immigration debate which can’t be ignored.
