#Twinkies Crisis Averted: Stop Hoarding #Hostess

Word has just come across the interwebs and Twittersphere that Hostess, makers of popular snacks like Twinkies and Ding Dongs, and its striking union workers have reached an agreement.

At 2:02 p.m. on Nov. 19, CNBC (@CNBC) tweeted: "BREAKING: Hostess and Bakers Union agree to mediation, preventing shut down."

Hostess had previously threated to shut down operations if workers did not return to their jobs and even filed for permission to liquidate prior to this news.

The thought of a world without Hostess prompted Twinkie hoarders to buy out stores and begin selling boxes on eBay for more than six times what they were worth.
