Sean runs an insurance/financial advisory practice at New York Life, providing long-term care, life insurance, and investment planning for individuals and business owners.
Sean's prior experience includes Global Head of Credit and Investment Strategy and Senior Vice President & Treasurer for a publicly traded insurance company. His finance career began at Barclays Capital as a Credit Derivatives Trader jointly responsible for the Global Asian Sovereign & Corporate Derivatives Trading Book. He was previously an Insurance & Non-Bank Financial Institutions Sector Analyst and part of a nationally-ranked Credit Research Team at Solomon Smith Barney, and Managing Director of a private company in the outsourced CFO space.
Sean’s career began as a researcher in solid state physics at Stanford University and a high school math teacher in New York. He has a B.S. in Physics from Fordham College at Rose Hill, Summa Cum Laude, and was also elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Sean also holds a Masters in Economics with concentration in Finance from New York University.
He is a proud member of the Junior Committee of the Alzheimer's Association. Sean lives in New York City with his wife and two sons.
