Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (D-Florida) joins Mark Riley Friday morning at 7:35 AM.Chair of the Democratic National Committee representing Florida's 20th Congressional district which encompasses parts Broward and Dade counties including Fort Lauderdale and Miami Beach.
Wasserman-Schultz served as both a Representative and Senator in the Florida State Legislature and a member of the House Committee on the Budget. As well as the Vice Chair of the House Democratic Steering and Policy Committee, Chief Deputy Whip, Democratic Vice Chair of the Congressional Caucus for Women’s Issues, a bipartisan members organization dedicated to promoting women's economic, health, legal, and education interests.

Wasserman-Schultz is the first Jewish Congresswoman ever elected from Florida.
