He has established a national reputation for being a nutritional innovator, as a communicator/educator, product formulator, and as founder of Hickey Chemists, the prototype integrative pharmacy of the future. Mr. Hickey enjoys a large and loyal following with health conscious consumers in the New York metropolitan area. He appears regularly on NYC's television news broadcasts and has been interviewed by many leading magazines, newspapers, radio and television shows. These include Newsday, The New York Times, Newsweek, The Daily News, New York Magazine, Glamour, Seventeen, Mirabella, The Irish Voice, Crain's New York, Fox's Good Day New York, CNBC, to name a few. He also had a prominent role in the PBS-TV series, "Healthy Living with Jane Seymour." Mr. Hickey lectures regularly to professionals and is the Chairman of the Society of Natural Pharmacy, a national organization with over 10,000 members, and he's on the Formulary Review Panel and the Scientific Advisory Board of the Continuum Center for Health and Healing at the Beth Israel Medical Center. Additionally, he has been interviewed extensively in the pharmacy industry trade magazines and journals and was the subject of a cover story in American Druggist. In May 2002, Mr. Hickey wrote a two-page article in Newsweek magazine about multi-vitamins. He is also the co-author of "Dr. Gaynor's Cancer Prevention Program" (Kensington Books).
